Anna M. Matejka (nee Lyons), 80, of Dumont, NJ, died peacefully on March 9, 2020.

Anna M. Matejka (née Lyons), 80, of Dumont, died peacefully on March 9, 2020.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Willis Matejka.  Loving mother of Joseph and Raymond Matejka and Victoria Connelly and her husband John.  Cherished grandmother of John, Jeremy, Jimmy, and Joseph.  Dear sister of Helen Wronka.

Anna was born in the Bronx, NY to Mary (née Golden) and James Lyons, and devoted her life to raising her family.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church.

Visiting Wednesday, March 11th, 9 AM-10:30 AM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont.  Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna’s memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, N.J. Metro Chapter, Aspen Corporate Park 1, 1480 U.S. Highway 9 North, Suite 301, Woodbridge, NJ 07095; www.nationalmssociety.org.
